Main Conference Registration

On this page you will find everything you need to know about registration for the 3rd European Biblio/Poetry Therapy Conference. You will need your payment method to hand in order to submit the registration form below. Registration and payment must be submitted online, and places are limited. The closing date for registrations is 13 September 2026.

A note about recording

Our conference is face-to-face and we regret that, for a number of reasons, there are no plans to stream, film or record the sessions. If you are unable to join us in Canterbury in person, do check out and follow the European Journal for Biblio/Poetry Therapy. There you can read write-ups of the sessions in Budapest in 2024. Papers based on the sessions from Jyväskylä in 2025 are currently in progress, and the Canterbury contributions will appear in due course. Meanwhile Lapidus International's Creative Bridges Conference is fully online and the next one is due in September 2027.

What's included?

The conference fee is £265 GBP per person. The fee covers the full programme on Thursday 1st October and Friday 2nd October at the Cathedral Lodge, all conference materials, a reception on the evening of Thursday 1st October, welcome coffee and pastries, and lunches and a coffee and tea break with refreshments on both days. Evening meals on Wednesday 30th September and Friday 2nd October are not included in the conference fee.

It is not possible to book for single sessions or for single days. Payment is taken in British Pounds only. The Pre-Conference Day on Wednesday 30th September and Post-Conference tour on Saturday 3rd October have separate registration forms (see header menu).

The conference is being organised by volunteers and underwritten by The Poetry Practice Ltd on a not-for-profit basis. Your entire fee will go towards supporting the event. There are no automatically discounted places. If the fee is a barrier to your attendance, we recommend in the first instance applying to your professional association in your home country for financial support. If you require guidance, please contact us by using the form on the Home Page.
