The conference will take place in the Cathedral Lodge (pictured), on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd October 2026. There will be an opening reception in the afternoon of Wednesday 30th September. We will also offer a research workshop on Wednesday 30th September, and a guided tour of Canterbury, city of literature, on the following Saturday morning.

 

Canterbury has excellent accommodation in all price brackets. We will announce hotels offering special deals in January. Canterbury can be reached by train from London (St Pancras International including the Eurostar terminal, Victoria and Charing Cross) or coach from Victoria.  The Channel port of Dover is easily accessible by car, bus or train. The most convenient airports are London City, Gatwick and Luton. Car parking is at a premium in the city and expensive.
